HOOZ

FAQ

Short answers to the questions people ask first.

Is HOOZ a mixer?

No. It moves value from the Zcash shielded pool to Robinhood Chain over public rails. The privacy belongs to Zcash. HOOZ pools nothing.

Do I need to connect a wallet?

No. Type an address, send ZEC from your own wallet, and the road does the rest. Connecting through Privy is wallet-only and lets you fill your address in one click, see balances and act on your envelope.

Why a transparent Zcash address?

For refunds only. NEAR Intents returns the ZEC there if no solver fills. Make a fresh one for each envelope.

How long does it take?

About eight minutes: roughly seven and a half on NEAR Intents, then one block on Robinhood Chain. The Arbitrum fallback adds a Relay hop of a few seconds.

What does it cost?

The NEAR Intents spread and its 25 bps surcharge for unauthenticated integrations. After launch: the Pons curve fee and the 0.5 % Sorter fee. The quote shows every line before you send. Before launch HOOZ charges nothing.

What do I receive before $WHOZ launches?

ETH at your address. NEAR Intents pays you directly, and HOOZ never touches it.

How much $WHOZ will I get after launch?

Whatever the curve gives for your ETH at the moment of the sweep. Other people trade between your quote and your sweep, so the site cannot promise a number.

Can the team take my ETH once it is in my envelope?

No. Only a sweep, which buys you $WHOZ, or your own withdraw can move it. No owner function pauses withdraw.

Can I use the same envelope twice?

Yes. Your envelope is a permanent address. Each time it receives ETH, a sweep buys you more $WHOZ.

Where is the $WHOZ contract?

Launch soon. Follow the X account in the header for the address. Anything posted elsewhere before that is not HOOZ.
